The nesting dolls I received after ordering this item were similar, but had one major difference. The smallest of the 8 nesting dolls was painted entirely yellow with just a black outlined face. It doesn't match the rest at all. At around $50 with s&h they really shouldn't have skimped on this detail. It really cheapens the set. On a minor note, the other 7 nesting dolls also had less detail than pictured but was acceptable to me at the price. I ended up discarding the 8th (smallest) doll and keeping this item as a set of 7 reasonably detailed nesting dolls.

Dolls are beautiful. It was to be a Christmas present but arrived weeks later. Didn't matter. She loved them as much and they were a special surprise. Would be nice if the origin of shipment were noted in description so that we could anticipate time of arrival. Other than that, I was pleased with the handling of the order and the communication with shipper.

These dolls are very beautiful and look great. I am very pleased with them. Do be aware of the time they take to ship. It was approximately 3 weeks because they come from Russia.
